Telecom Infrastructure Partners (TIP): Reflections from the Women in Food and Farming Speed Networking Event at LAMMA

A colleague at Telecom Infrastructure Partners (TIP), Clare Griffiths, recently

attended the Women in Food and Farming speed networking event at LAMMA,

which brought together women from across the agricultural and food sector to

connect, share experiences, and discuss their roles within the industry.

One of the highlights she found was the speed networking format itself. It created an

immediate sense of openness, encouraging meaningful conversations from the

outset and fostering a strong sense of community among attendees from across the

wider rural and agricultural landscape.

Clare Griffiths, a colleague at Telecom Infrastructure Partners (TIP), reflected:

The structure of the event worked particularly well in breaking down barriers quickly, allowing participants to move beyond introductions and engage in more thoughtful discussion about their experiences across farming, land management, and the wider rural economy.

From a Telecom Infrastructure Partners (TIP) perspective, events such as this are also valuable for understanding the broader agricultural and rural environment in which many of the landowners we work with operate. TIP works with land and property owners across the UK and internationally who host telecommunications infrastructure, including mobile phone masts, rooftop installations, and other digital infrastructure assets located on agricultural and rural land.

These assets are often part of long-term agreements that are not frequently reviewed, and in many cases landowners are not fully aware of the strategic importance or full range of options associated with them. TIP supports landowners in understanding the structure and implications of their telecom agreements, helping them make more informed decisions about how these assets fit into their wider land and business strategy.

At the same time, the Women in Food and Farming network continues to play an important role in strengthening connections across the sector, creating space for shared learning and collaboration between people working in farming, land-based businesses, and rural industries.

Clare also noted:
